To see the Church as God wants us to see!
For me, the Bishops’ Synod is a courageous wake-up call for the Church because a thorough reflection is required from each baptized person and is therefore challenging and far-sighted. I believe that it has an impact on the style and the development of Church in the future. The Bishops’ Synod constitutes an important step in the conversion and renewal of the Church communities as the synodal process implies mutual listening, dialogue, understanding, appreciation and support.
The synod of Bishops is a movement to work together as a united Church, both laity and clergy, according to our respective roles. Walking together, according to Pope Francis’ call, is a constitutive way for the Church, which allows us to interpret the existing reality with the eyes and heart of God. This method can help the Church, all of us, to participate and continuously renew ourselves amidst advances in science and technology, as well as increasingly complex societal problems.
